Building The Puppet - Wood Parts

After having a solid idea of how I will create my armature, I started researching of how the body parts will be shaped and made of. I went for wood as it's hard material and easy to manipulate. So I first drafted a rough illustration of how my puppet body parts will end up looking from different angels.

So I went to the wood work shop in Minto house to start building these parts.

Afterwards, I drew these parts on pieces of wood as guidelines to prepare them for cutting.

Later on, I started cutting the pieces with wood cutting saw.

After getting an abstract shaped wood parts, I begun sculpting and and softening theses parts to get show more details of how they look.

Subsequently, I ended up with a clearer look of my puppet.
