Building The Interactive Video Player

A video player for this kind of film has to be customised as it not only plays videos, but also anticipates users' inputs during playing. I made a very simple video player with basic button controls such as play/pause button, volume button and progress bar. It is set to have an aspect ration for wide screens which is 16:9 in almost any screen size, including small devices; thus, it is best to view it in a desktop browser, more specifically Chrome browser.

Before the video player starts playing the film, it first takes all different parameters from the user such as language, weather and city name, and then prepares the film accordingly. This took fairly big deal of time to build well as there are many different options.

The video player has another unusually feature, that is the parallax effect on hover. Since the film constructs of many different layers, it was easer to implement such feature that makes the video more interactive and enjoyable.
