Mise En Scene

For this film, I'm looking for a directing style that is subtle and simple. A style that makes it easy for the viewers to know what they need to know, and have their eyes guided to what is important in a light-hearted way. Sounds familiar? Yes, it seems a lot like a Wes Anderson Style.

I'm inspired tremendously by his style in every single movie he has directed. Therefore, I'm adapting many of his techniques with some amendments in my film. I have watched many of his movies, and read numerous articles about his visual style on tilting and panning shots to symmetry to colour palettes, hoping this will help me create a great subtle short film.
