Ayo is a charming, timid and lovely person. He has a little scar on his face that makes him feel a bit imperfect. This has caused him to feel too self conscious about himself and his actions.
On a sunny day, Ayo walks happily on a path, singing (or whistling) and swaying (dancing) with joy as if he owns the world. That all he does on the path, enjoying the beautiful walk. A person passes by him. Out of a sudden, Ayo changes his behaviour. He stops singing and dancing, and starts walking firmly with full awareness that there is a flawless person noticing him. Ayo is very worried about people judging him and thinking he is weird. It feels like as if he was put in a spot light and everyone else is gazing at him with criticising looks. The person is now far gone. Ayo is relieved and goes back to his natural self, singing and doing his own thing. Few minutes later, a few people pass by, and Ayo switches immediately to his undercover mode and the spotlight is all on him again until the moment those people are totally far away. Ayo keeps doing this every time someone passes by him.Time passes by and another group of people goes past him. As expected, Ayo automatically changes his behaviour. But what different this time is that there are hundreds of people who are coming out of a stadium. Ayo holds his undercover mode for as long as he can. The crowd is way too big, and people just never stop flowing. Ayo is getting all the negative thoughts that these people are staring at his imperfection and judging him. He gets so anxious that he kept walking straight without looking ahead until he hits a light column. At this moment, Ayo is very fearful. In his mind, all theses people are now laughing at him for being stupid. He sneaks a look at the crowd, but soon he comes to realise that no one person actually cared. They all just keeps walking, occupied with their own business. Ayo is surprised, and confused. He does it again, but this time he drops his keys… intentionally. Again, people didn’t really pay any attention to him. Ayo takes a deep breath, blocks negative thoughts and build some confidence in himself, and them he starts expressing himself gradually. Ayo instead of focusing his attention on himself, he shifts it to the people and environment around him. The spot light now is on everything, and he sees there are some people who have flaws in particular ways. He figures out that no one is perfect, and should accept himself the way he is. Ayo now walks on the path expressing whatever he feels like, laughing at himself and embracing his flaws. One person passes by Ayo, and this person likes how Ayo is enjoying himself with his imperfection. He winks (gives thumbs up to) at Ayo.
The end
